Salary: £35,147 - £46,418 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance
Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available | 37 hours per week
In response to Ofgem's incentive known as Incentive on Connections Engagement (ICE) Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) is required to demonstrate that we are being proactive in continually improving and enhancing the customer experience when arranging and delivering their electricity network connections and that our communication strategy, activities and outputs take into account ongoing feedback from a broad and inclusive range of connection stakeholders.
As the Lead of our ICE team you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that SSEN delivers over and above our ICE stakeholder commitments. You will manage a small team located in Perth and Portsmouth, involved in coordinating and managing a range of events and initiatives in our north and south license areas designed to engage with our stakeholders and understand their concerns and requirements. From these events and other day to day contacts you will also ensure that feedback is collated, recorded and responded to allowing SSEN to report to Ofgem on the detailed steps being taken to deliver on stakeholder expectations.
As part of the reporting requirements to Ofgem you will also take a lead role in formulating SSEN's ICE engagement strategy and annual work plans, ensuring that these capture and address stakeholder concerns and requirements, and will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the work plan outputs and targets throughout the year.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role you should have a strong customer service focus being comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels (both internal and external). You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a confident user of Microsoft Office, including Excel and MS Project packages.
You will have strong organisational skills and be able to demonstrate an ability to coordinate and manage the delivery of multiple projects concurrently. Experience in copywriting would be an advantage as would knowledge of the electricity networks industry.
Due to the travel requirements of this role, a full valid UK driver's license will be necessary as will a degree of flexibility in regards to work patterns.
