Sopra Banking Software is currently seeking an experience Retail Banking Systems Project Manager to join our Project Management practice. You will be joining a high profile, complex and fast paced programme of work so would suit someone with five years plus Project Management who is looking for a role that will provide excellent career progression and development. This is a really good opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in retail banking to get into a fantastic and positive team and make your mark.
As part of the wider Project Management practice you must be flexible on work location as there may be a need to travel to other customer sites or other Sopra Banking Software offices for meetings, training, and or other customer projects.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:
·At least 5 years of successful Project Management experience
·The successful management of projects within the retail banking sector
·Experience of managing large complex projects
·Extensive experience of standard PM responsibilities
- Project planning
oMonitoring and reporting
- Risk & Issue management
- Budget tracking
- Change management
·Experience of stakeholder management and building positive relationships with stakeholders
·Significant experience of face to face customer interaction
·Adhering to and supporting a governance framework
·Experience of working within a large, complex ecosystem
- Experience of working within a close-knit team, providing leadership and mentoring junior team members
·Experience working for a software supplier in the financial services sector
·Experience of managing projects in the financial industry, ideally in retail banking
·They hold a current Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP, etc)
·Management of software projects
·Line management of direct reports
·Supplier / 3rd party management
