As a member of the Environment and Infrastructure leadership team this role provides the unique opportunity as the principal contact and holder of the Council's operator License to strategically lead, manage and influence Renfrewshire's Fleet and Social Transport Services.

You will have management experience in a similarly complex organisation and in key services including vehicle maintenance, fleet management, asset management and delivery of social and public transport operations. You will have strategic leadership and operational experience, as well as knowledge of statutory and legislative requirements and to ensure compliance with the operator licensing requirements. You must be able to lead and influence across the services, and across the wider organisation. You must also have an ability and proven track record in leading service change and improvement. It is essential that you possess a relevant degree or professional qualification and/or Membership of Professional Institution/Association as appropriate together with extensive experience and knowledge of statute and regulation, in relation to Fleet and Social Transportation services.
