Hotel Spa & Leisure Club Manager

The Job:

Our client is after an enthusiastic Hotel Spa & Leisure Club Manager who will report directly into the hotel Operations Manager. The successful candidate would help to provide the very best guest experience at all times, from arrival to departure within all areas within this fabulous spa & leisure club. You would be responsible for the day to day management of the spa & leisure club team, ensuring that hotel guests & club members receive an efficient, friendly, consistent & personalised service from all team members

The Essential Skills:

Personal qualities required for the Hotel Spa & Leisure Club Manager are:

  • You must be able to demonstrate a 3-5 year proven track record of supervising and managing a team within a hotel spa & leisure club environment
  • Must have experience of managing the sales & marketing aspect of a spa & leisure club operation
  • Must be highly customer focused with excellent communication skills both face to face, on the telephone & via email
  • Ability to motivate & develop team members and to work as a team
  • Must be commercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs & departmental budgets
  • Must possess excellent personal presentation
  • Proven standards of IT skills and good standards of numeracy & literacy
  • Must be highly organised and well versed in completing paperwork
  • Must be self-driven, willing to be 'hands-on' at all times and possess a passion for the spa & leisure industry generally
  • As a senior position in the hotel, as a result, additional hours may be required to support the hotel during their busier periods including bank holidays
