About Broomhouse Change Kitchen
There are three arms to our catering operations; Café, Outside Catering and Skills training. We are about to embark on an exciting new phase and have started the construction of a new building, with an integrated café. During this year, catering operations continue, building business ready for when we move into our new building in Summer 2019.

The Café opened 18 years ago, offering a vibrant space for the community, whilst providing a training space for vulnerable groups of people providing life and social skills, as well as accredited training programmes. In 2010 an Outside Catering business was set up providing a City-wide delivery service to voluntary sector organisations and private companies.

Once in our new building, opportunities for innovation really extend as we will have space to hosts parties, weddings and meetings in addition to community and special events; exciting times ahead!

About the role
Broomhouse Change Kitchen is a social enterprise and is looking for an experienced, self-motivated and enthusiastic Senior Cook to manage and develop the catering business at the Broomhouse Centre. We are currently a small operation and we have big plans for growth. Focusing on outside catering and events in Edinburgh, we need someone with great cooking skills, creativity, enthusiasm and passion to work with, and support, a small team. Development of staff is a big part of this role along with maintaining great kitchen standards.
