What is the role?
Early Years Practitioner (Family Learning)
This post is based within the Early Years Family Learning team. The team consists of 4 early years’ practitioners who deliver family learning, mainly through Parents Early Education Programme (PEEP) which supports parents and children to learn together, in early year’s centres across South Ayrshire. Previous experience of involvement in family learning and working with families is essential to the post and although it is desirable that applicants are PEEP trained, it is not an essential requirement. The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 6, the hourly rate is from £11.55 to £12.63 and the annual salary, adjusted for a term time working pattern, is from £18,037 to £20,429.
Interviews are scheduled for Wednesday 05th December 2018.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
