Non-executive Members, Advisory Committee for Scotland
Ofcom is the independent regulator and competition authority for the UK communications industries, with responsibilities across television, radio, postal services, telecommunications and wireless communications services. The Advisory Committee for Scotland provides advice to Ofcom about the interests and opinions of people living in Scotland and its diverse communities on communications matters across these services. We wish to appoint two Members to the committee with starting dates from the first half of 2019. On this occasion, we would particularly be interested in hearing from applicants with experience working within the telecoms and postal sectors in Scotland and of the challenges of delivering communications services to Scotland’s rural and remote areas.
