Telecoms Project Manager (Inverness)
My client is a large infrastructure company working across the UK and Ireland. They work with several large companies in the Telecoms & Power industry. They have served the industry for over 40 years and have recently been working in other areas of the world including Africa, India & the Caribbean.
They are currently looking for a Project Manager to work on a large Telecoms contract bringing fibre upgrades to the property. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the running of the contract that extends across Surrey. The ideal candidate will have to have telecoms experience and ideally have worked on a FTTP project before.
You will need to be able to work to the clients standards and also meet company standard and promote these across the team. This will also include UK wide standards like NRSWA, you will need to build a good relationship with the local authorities and the client to ensure the project can be managed to the best of your ability.
Responsibilities of the role:
·Health and Safety - Risk assessments, training & company culture
·Undertake and ensure all site inspections are to the clients standards
·Manage traffic management and liaise with councils to ensure permits are issued correctly to reduce costs
·Focus on the delivery of BDUK/BAU/ILC/E-NET and G-Fast programmes
·Manage finances from - Site expenditures, supply chain delivery/ increase sales & identify issues
Skills and experience required:
·At least 5 years experience in Project Management
·Streetworks Supervisor ticket
·Good IT skills including MS Office
·Jeopardy Management experience
·BT accreditations - Civil engineering
·Good problem solving skills
·Excellent communication skills
·Full UK driving Licence
