Harvey Nash is looking for a Consultant to join our high performing permanent IT and technology recruitment team. Currently 200% to target, we have a diverse range of clients including innovative start-ups, fast growing technology companies and hi-tech corporates in multiple subsectors of IT, software and technology. You will be involved in all aspects of recruitment, plus have a high level of visibility meeting candidates and clients face-to-face and attending networking events. Excellent earning potential is a real possibility in this role and you will work with some of the most experienced and successful consultants in the market.

Overview of Role
As a Consultant you will be responsible for managing the pipeline of candidates for the permanent IT recruitment team. You will be attracting high calibre candidates, conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews, whilst maintaining on-going and regular contact. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates for specific opportunities covering a broad spectrum of interesting and emerging technologies, whilst generating leads. You will establish your own personal network of top talent who's skill-set is in demand within the Scottish market place. Initially, you will assist established Consultants fill roles while you business develop, but as quickly as possible you will build your own client base.
You will be an experienced recruitment consultant, commercially savvy and be able to demonstrate at interview that you are a driven, ambitious, charismatic, flexible, resilient, credible, influential, motivated, hard-working and tenacious individual who is keen to be successful. The jobs we help our clients fill are varied and technical so you need to have a genuine interest in technology and an aptitude for this area.
