As one of a team, you will provide a lifesaving and pool supervision service and will contribute to the smooth running of a busy leisure facility by providing a safe, clean and attractive environment for users, setting up and recovering sports equipment, cleaning and general housekeeping.

Possession of a current NPLQ certificate is essential.

Previous experience of operational tasks within a Leisure Centre/Swimming Pool is desirable as is a coaching qualification and/or fitness instructor’s qualification.

Working Pattern:  17 Hours Post: Sat: 09.00 - 18.0   Sun: 09.00 - 18.00

                             19.25 Hours Post: Tues: 17.00 - 22.15 Thur: 17.00 - 22.00   Fri- 13.00 -20.30     Sun- 15.30 - 18.30

Weeks per year: 52

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.

Based on you working 17 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £8,595.61 per annum.

Based on you working 19.25 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £9,733.27 per annum.
