Operations Manager - Laundry
Operations Manager to manage the overall production of a Laundry based in Edinburgh.

As a result of continued expansion, the organisation have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to manage the day to day operations of their modern laundry in Edinburgh.
Your new role
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the laundry, providing a safe and productive environment for the employees.
You will establish an environment of uncompromising safety, implementing and completing continuous improvement projects and meeting cost management targets established by the board. Working closely with the production supervisors, you will ensure that processing quality, quantity and service meets the organisations standards.
Along with this, you will manage all phases of operations including; production, quality control, maintenance, receiving and dispatch, training personnel and facility up keep and capital improvements. Ensuring a strong commercial focus, you will identify opportunities to increase surplus and maximise turnover
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced production manager with demonstrable experience in business and staff management. You will have a good understanding of Health & Safety, with a relevant qualification such as IOSHH.
Due to the nature of the business, you will need to be a patient and empathetic manager, with clear and concise communication skills. You will have a high emotional intelligence with an adaptable management style utilised to motivate the diverse workforce.
Knowledge of working within a laundry facility is preferred, however candidates with relevant production experience would also be considered.
