Location: Perth & Central Belt of Scotland

Salary: £36,900 - £56,500 depending on skills and experience + benefits + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

Permanent Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available

The Role

Aiding the SSE Trading and Holding Company Directors within SSE's Joint Venture ("JV") Wind Portfolio, the Asset Manager will be an active member of multiple JV Board Sub-Committees tasked with carrying out operational and commercial diligence in all JV company matters to maximise the return on investment. You may also provide ongoing support as a deputy General Manager (GM) to large-scale JV's operated by SSE, providing assistance to the GM in fulfilling contractual reporting obligations and ensuring appropriate company governance is observed at all times.

Your Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience operating within a similar level role and who has knowledge of both the GB and Ireland electricity markets. You should have a strong understanding of JV contracts such as shareholder and Share Purchase agreements, as well as procurement and tendering processes. Knowledge of commercial and accounting principles such as budgeting and reporting procedures and systems will be necessary. You should also be familiar with the SHE management systems framework as well as contractor governance processes.

Due to the nature of this role, outstanding stakeholder management and negotiation skills will be essential. You'll also need strong numeracy and literacy skills, excellent time management and the ability to work well under pressure.
