Job Title: Change Manager
Salary: £31,500 - £47,900 depending on skills and experience + benefits + annual bonus
Permanent Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available
As Change Manager within the Generation & Storage Change Programmes Team, you'll be responsible for ensuring changes in organisational processes, data, system usage, roles and responsibilities, and behavioural culture are effectively implemented. You'll coach, guide and consult project, programme and business resources in the use of the SSE Business Change Framework to effect sustainable change whilst developing and implementing change management approaches that minimise disruption and maximise adoption of project solutions.
Your other main accountabilities will include;
-Ensuring all business change activities and deliverables are delivered on time, to quality and budget
-Change impact assess business process and system technology deployment.
-Developing, facilitating and delivering change plans for multiple concurrent projects, communicating progress, risks, issues and mitigating actions against the change aspects within the overall project plans.
-Undertaking training needs analysis and ensuring appropriate end user training, working closely with a combination of third party and business trainers.
Your Skills & Experience
We are looking for a subject matter expert who has extensive experience of complex projects and transformation programmes coupled with a strong understanding of all business change disciplines such as business readiness, education and training, communication and engagement and organisational design. Knowledge of project management lifecycles including gate and phase review processes will be necessary.
You'll be capable of operating across all levels of the business and have the ability to utilise your negotiating and influencing skills to build and maintain strong relationships with project and programme stakeholders.
The Change Programmes Team supports the Renewables Generation, Thermal Generation and Gas Storage businesses to drive all major change improvements across these major asset intensive operations. The Team's current portfolio includes a three-year programme improving the Asset Management Operating model to deliver efficiency and value creation benefits for the on-going competitiveness of the business. It also includes a multi-project IT-focused programme of system improvements.
