Do you have the vision to lead a team to support those experiencing homelessness to help them to develop their capacity, self-esteem and life skills to enable them to live independently in the community? Then join us as a Service Manager.

Strathmore Lodge provides direct access emergency first stage homelessness accommodation and Burnside Mill is a converted jute mill that provides a resettlement service. As a Service Manager, your role will include leading and developing the management and support teams,  working in partnership with key stakeholders, developing the mission of the service, ensuring operational and compliance excellence, achieving value for money and developing new business opportunities and new partnerships.

The role of Service Manager is fundamental to the Salvation Army’s desire to help vulnerable clients achieve positive outcomes and as such you will be passionate, target driven, dynamic and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of services for vulnerable clients in a competitive climate.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

• Ability to lead a team with passion

• Have extensive experience working within a supported housing environment at managerial level

• Be qualified to SVQ 4 and have a relevant management and professional qualification or be willing to work towards this to fulfil Scottish Social Services Council registration requirements

• Demonstrate proven entrepreneurial and management skills, displaying exceptional interpersonal skills.

Hours: 40 per week, including on-call duties and public holidays on a rota as required.
