Job Title: EPM Systems Operations Analyst

Location: Perth

Salary: £31,500 - £47,900 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus

Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available | 37 hours per week

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Analyst to join our Systems Operations team based in Perth. The EPM Systems Operations (EPMSO) team is responsible for a wide range of activities within EPM, supporting business and IT teams to ensure that the complex IT systems and models can meet our demands for fast and accurate data to support critical operational decision making and reporting needs. This is a challenging role which provides the rare opportunity of both operational and systems experience and the chance to add considerable and quantifiable value to the business.

Some of your main accountabilities will include;

-Provide a highly responsive, informed and flexible service to key customers within the EPM Front, Middle and Back Offices

-Take ownership of issues, ensuring they are identified and resolved as effectively and efficiently as possible, making informed decisions in a timely manner and escalating when necessary.

-Work closely with IT teams to ensure that EPM systems availability is maximised, and that systems are fully supported and resilient.

-Act as a focal point for fault escalation and resolution through liaising with IT colleagues, ensuring service levels are maintained and faults resolved within agreed timeframes.

-Act as Test Lead and co-ordinate cross business testing whilst supporting business and IT system test teams.

-Make sure that routine EPM system maintenance, security upgrades and system resilience processes are scheduled to protect the performance and availability of crucial production systems, minimising the risk of unplanned impact to business users.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a strategic and analytical thinker with a proactive approach. You'll be proficient in Microsoft applications and you'll have an understanding of high level system functionality, interfaces and dependencies. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks will be essential, as will the ability to work methodically and with great attention to detail. You'll be a natural problem solver who puts the customer at the heart of everything that we do, ensuring that their needs are expectations are met.
