Job Title: Sales Team Manager
Salary: £31,345 - £41,396 depending on skills and experience
Permanent | Full Time Hours | 37 hours per week
You'll lead a team of approximately 12 Sales Agents, working closely with the whole team to understand performance and your team's coaching needs, creating development plans to continually improve their performance against their Sales & Service objectives. Working as part of a focused team, your operating hours will reflect the times that our customers prefer to contact us. We're open 8am - 10pm, Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm Saturday and 10am - 5pm Sunday.
Your team members will be ambassadors for SSE, leaving the customer with a positive experience. They'll be serving new or existing customers, providing the best energy tariff for them, and after holding engaging conversations about their needs, they'll upsell or cross-sell additional products such as Retail Telecoms (Home Phone & Broadband) and Home Services (Central Heating, Boiler and Electrical Wiring Cover) products.
Your Skills and Experience
We're looking for experienced people leaders who engage their team in building a customer-focused culture. You'll be able to demonstrate an inclusive leadership style, driving your team to fantastic results.
You should have previous supervisory and/or managerial experience within a contact centre environment, ideally within a regulated industry. Working as part of the management team you'll also act as an ambassador for SSE by creating meaningful conversations and innovative solutions that make a lasting impression on our customers, and you'll lead your team to embrace the same values. You'll have a passion for exceeding customer expectations that will drive performance and improve business results.
