Salary £25877 - £29162 per annum pro rata (£14.18 -£15.98 per hour)

An excellent temporary job share Community Housing Officer opportunity has arisen in the East Area Housing team. We're looking for an enthusiastic customer-focused person to join our team and contribute to providing an excellent landlord service to our tenants. Responsible for a designated area of Council houses, your main duties will include allocating vacant Council tenancies, tenancy and estate management. You will also provide high quality housing options advice to housing applicants.
As part of the wider Community Housing Service, to provide front line housing management services and housing advice to tenants, tenant/resident groups or their representatives.

You must ensure you meet every 'essential' criteria stated on the Person Specification to reach the interview stage. In cases where the majority of applicants meet all the essential criteria, the desirable criteria will be used to form a final short-leet.
Educated to HNC in Housing or equivalent and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.*

This post involves accessing the public services network, therefore the preferred candidate will be subject to the Baseline Personnel Security Standards (BPSS).
