Job Title: Commercial Support
Location: Glasgow City
Salary: £21,161 - £27,947 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus
Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available | 37 hours per week
This role will be focused around the provision of high-quality commercial support to the Renewable Operations business. The Renewable Operations Commercial Support team's primary function is to support the business in satisfying its payment obligations owed to its vendors, with which the business spends approximately £100m annually.
The main function of the role itself requires the successful candidate to support the business by verifying invoices and resolving the associated queries, liaising with the business and Accounts Payable to facilitate payment and ensuring adherence to the Prompt Payment Code and other regulatory requirements.
Additionally, the role assumes responsibility for other administrative tasks connected with the procurement activities of the business including but not limited to the raising, tracking and receipting of Purchase Orders. Due to the dynamic nature of the business there may also be a requirement for the successful candidate to assist the Team Leader with ad-hoc tasks, as and when they arise.
As part of the Renewable Operations Commercial Support team, there is also a requirement to compile, distribute and, on occasion, analyse monthly financial reports to the business, ensuring that they are produced accurately, on a timely basis and in accordance with the relevant processes.
Your Skills and Experience
The role will require a reasonable level of administrative experience, and be able to work to deadlines. The role should have experience in Excel and Word packages and be able to provide timely and professional output which will provide value in the day to day decision making process. The candidate must show a good level of attention to detail, problem solving and work through problems to close - It is very important that the candidate works through issues and is capable of showing ability to think thorough a problem to find an alternative means of solving to reach a resolution
